Tarot Cards These tarot cards can go back as far as the 15th century and was first introduce in Italy, there were based on 4 decks and they are still currently used today.

There are many different types of tarot cards but they will all have the same bases, having 78 cards in total.
They are broken down into the Major Arcana which has 22 cards and the Minor Arcana which has 56 cards. They are divided into 4 suits 14 cards each, called Swords, Wands, Coins and Cups 10 of the cards numbered and the other 4 are call the court cards and they are the King, Queen, Knight and Page.
These names may vary such as the swords are also known as the Wands, Staves or Rods the Coins are known as the Pentacles or Disks.

Occult Tarot Cards

Has themes relating to Egypt and again they have 78 cards broken down in the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. The most commonly used tarot cards is the ‘Rider-Waite’ pack as they are user friendly they were illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith on instruction by Arthur Edward Waite and was published in 1910.

These cards are still used today by many Mediums, Psychic and Clairvoyants it helps to bring clarity into the reading.
